Panasonic announces Android-powered home phone.

Specifications

There is not much details regarding the internals or the specifications. The device however will have WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity and will have access to Google’s Play Store letting users download compatible applications for the device. There is also a tiny front camera for video calls.

In addition to the handset and the base station, the KR-PRX120 will also come with an answering machine. Panasonic hopes to bring back the days of cordless home phones by replacing the huge handset with compact and easy to carry, Android-powered, touch-screen handsets.
