How to hide your phone number when calling someone through your iPhone

For some reasons, it might be that you want to make a call from your iPhone, but don't desire to divulge your phone number. Some of you will surely know about the steps involved in this technique of hiding your phone number, but for individuals who aren't, I have compiled a step-by-step tutorial below.

The iPhone is packed with small, potentially useful features that not everybody may take note of. If you've long since known how exactly to your number from prying eyes, then you definitely won't need to browse the guide we've posted below. But if that is all news for your requirements, then take a few minutes to see through and familiarize yourself with the steps.

1.Go to settings from your iPhone home page
2.Scroll down the Settings menu until you find Phone, which also has the phone icon logo alongside it.
3.Next, select the Show My Caller ID option. From here, all you need to do is hit the small toggle, and your caller ID will not be shown once you make any outgoing calls.

After following these simple steps, people you call might find a pop-up message of “Unknown” or “Blocked” or similar, depending on their own set-up. Keep in mind, though, that by and large, some folks are less inclined to detect a caller that doesn't desire to reveal themselves.
