Transfer data from your Android wirelessly to your PC

Are you bored of carrying your phone data cable with you everytime you want to transfer data from your Android phone? Well here's a very simple way of transferring your data securely over a Wi-Fi connection.

Transferring data to your PC from your phone or vice-versa wirelessly through bluetooth is not new and may be everyone may have used it. But the transfer rate is too slow. Instead you can use Wi-Fi to transfer your data which has high transfer rate and process too is very simple. You can do it with these simple app, WiFi File Server Free made by MinsTech Software

Here is the procedure to transfer data through this app
1.Download the app from play store and install it on your device.
2.Once the application starts up, it will search for available Wi-Fi networks. If you are not connected, or your Wi-Fi is turned off, the app will prompt you to turn Wi-Fi on.
3.Once you turn on your Wi-fi the app gets connected to your network
4.Next, turn on the remote server by tapping the Start key located on the lower left side of the application screen. The app will now show an IP address and a password that would be required to access the device.
5.Now connect your PC or Laptop to Wi-Fi network and enter the IP address in your web browser as prompted by the app on your Android device. After you enter the IP address in your browser you will be prompted to enter the password. Enter the password which you see on your device. Note that the password is case-sensitive so enter as it is seen in your phone.
6.Once the authentication is done, you can access all the files on your Android device. You can download or upload files using the application and can also select multiple files and download them as a single zip file on your computer.

Through this app you can connect to any open Wi-Fi network and transfer your data wirelessly. The app uses password authentication and also it can be used over secured "https"(you have to option to use http or https in the app settings).

So, guys this is it; a simple method to transfer your data. It can prove useful in colleges or offices where we normally don't carry our USB cable with us everytime. Just what you need is a WiFi connection
